Pre-Conference Workshop on Hormone Balancing
February 27, 2013 8:00am - 5:30pm*
Integrating hormone balancing and endocrine optimization will catapult your practice to a new level. It will bring both amazing returns in patient satisfaction and referrals as well as strengthen substantially your revenue generation and financial well-being. Growing this part of your practice requires adding a new domain of clinical expertise which may be unfamiliar to you.
Jay Mead, MD and Erin Lommen, ND, will be joined by Robyn Kutka, ND to bring an excellent resource to you in the form of a one day intensive workshop on hormone balance for optimal health and wellbeing. Using an evidence-based approach, this workshop will review the basic regulatory physiology behind the male and female sex hormones, adrenal hormones, neurotransmitters and thyroid hormones. We will also detail the effects of stress, menopause, prescription medications, and aging on the neuroendocrine system. After reviewing the support in the literature behind testing, we will give instruction on how to test for imbalances and replace deficiencies with vitamin, herbal, and/or bio-identical hormone therapy.
Please note: This Pre-conference workshop is intended for practitioners who are licensed to order testing and treat patients with hormone imbalance as defined by their state boards.
Limited seating available.
