Mark Hyman, MD, has devoted his life to helping others discover optimal health and address the root causes of chronic disease through the power of Functional Medicine. Dr. Hyman is an internationally recognized leader, speaker, educator, and advocate in the fields of Functional Medicine and nutrition. He is the founder and director of The UltraWellness Center, Senior Advisor for the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine, a fourteen-time New York Times best-selling author, and Board President for Clinical Affairs for The Institute for Functional Medicine. He is the host of one of the leading health podcasts, The Doctor’s Farmacy. Dr. Hyman is a regular medical contributor to several television shows and networks, including CBS This Morning, Today, Good Morning America, The View, and CNN. He is also an advisor and guest co-host on The Dr. Oz Show. Through his work to change policy for the betterment of public health, Dr. Hyman has testified before the Senate Working Group on Health Care Reform on Functional Medicine. He has consulted with the surgeon general on diabetes prevention and participated in the 2009 White House Forum on Prevention and Wellness. Senator Tom Harkin of Iowa nominated Dr. Hyman for the President’s Advisory Group on Prevention, Health Promotion, and Integrative and Public Health.

Neilanjan Nandi, MD, FACP is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Nandi’s practice focuses on the management of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD, eg, Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative Colitis) and recurrent Clostridium difficile infection via Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT). Dr. Nandi serves on the executive council of the Philadelphia Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation (CCF), the medical advisory board of the United Ostomy Associates of America (UOAA), coordinates outreach on the American College of Gastroenterology Patient Care Committee and is a founding board member of the South Asian IBD Alliance (SAIA).

Dr. Rountree received his MD in 1980 from UNC-Chapel Hill, followed by a residency in family medicine at the Hershey Medical Center. He began his professional career in Boulder, Colorado, at Wellspring, Partners in Health, a multidisciplinary clinic that was one of the first integrative medicine healthcare centers in the U.S.  In 2002, he opened Boulder Wellcare, a private practice specializing in personalized healthcare consulting. Dr. Rountree has coauthored numerous books and written numerous book chapters on integrative and nutritional medicine.

Lyn Patrick, ND, graduated from Bastyr University in 1984 with a doctorate in naturopathic medicine and has been in private practice in Arizona and Colorado for 35 years. She is a published author of numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, a past Contributing Editor for Alternative Medicine Review, and recently authored a chapter in the newly released textbook Clinical Environmental Medicine (Elsevier 2019). She speaks internationally on environmental medicine, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, endocrine disruption, metal toxicology and other topics.
