Session Description: Medicine wasn’t always practiced the way it is now. One hundred years ago, two prevailing paradigms battled to determine the future of medicine. Told by avid historian and functional medicine founder and pioneer Dr. Jeffrey Bland and well-respected functional medicine clinical leader Dr. Vincent Pedre, this story is one you can’t miss.
- Participants will be able to discuss the historical context of the GI-Centered, Functional Medicine Paradigm.

- Participants will be able to apply the principles of personal influence to drive a shift of medical paradigms.
