Morning Yoga with Carol Hahn

6:30 AM – 7:30 AM

Location: Nassau Suite

Please join instructor Carol Hahn, owner of Wellness and Fitness Nurse, at these early morning yoga sessions.  Come prepared to increase your awareness through movement that will relax your body, breath, and mind.   Carol will blend fundamental principles of alignment and flow of postures linked together with your breath.  The movements or poses will help wake you up and be a complete experience; leaving you centered, grounded, and refreshed before the symposium.  All levels are welcome.

 

 

Meditate and Stretch with Robert & Julie Graham

12:05 PM – 1:05 PM

Location: Madison Suite

Please join Julie and Robert Graham, Co-Founders of FRESH Medicine, for this session designed to connect your mind and body. Come to learn some chair yoga stretches to gently open the body, as well as some simple breathing practices to help tap into your “Relaxation Response.” Julie and Robert will then introduce a few meditation techniques like, mindfulness meditation, progressive muscle relaxation and guided imagery. If you’re looking to improve your posture, relax your nervous system, calm your mind, improve digestion and increase your energy—this class is for you. All levels are welcome.
