Unwind – Rewind with Lynda Salerno Gehrman

12:30 PM – 1:30 PM  |  Location: TBD

Skills get better with time. Age is a marker for time.  Develop skilled movement and improve with age. Identify your true core and ideal alignment.  Even in your business casual, learn a set routine that can be used as a workout, as corrective care, a warm up, or a cool down. 1x through will get the blood flowing, 4x though will get the heart going, 8x though will get the sweat going. Built on Pilates principles, blended with yoga, codified dance techniques, and functional movement training, this lesson will change the way you think about your every move. Keep it together.

 

 

Yoga for Healing with Alli Bradley RYT

Naturally unfold into your life force energy through breathe, movement, and meditation. This Yoga Practice will open with ancient Pranayama techniques to open and align the body, move through intelligently sequenced asanas to massage the organs and lubricate the joints, and end with restorative postures as well as guided relaxation techniques.

Alli began practicing Yoga & Reiki as an extension of her BFA in Dance Performance and quickly found her passion within these ancient practices. Alli’s sessions use the body as a vehicle to connect each individual to their divine universal intelligence. Her multidisciplinary background in Yoga, Dance, Somatics, and Energy Healing grounds her work in curated individualized practices. Her mission is to bring movement and expression to people throughout all walks of life.

Reiki Healing Circle with Alli Bradley RYT

This energy works on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels, helping to bring us back to our natural state of peace and wellbeing. Transmitted through gentle touch, Reiki has the ability to comb out the kinks of the energetic body: balancing, smoothing, soothing, and calming.

The Healing Labyrinth: A Walking Meditation with Nancy Gahles DC, CCH, RSHom(NA),OIM

The labyrinth is a walking meditation, a path of prayer and an archetypal blueprint where Psyche meets Spirit. Labyrinths are a symbol for spiritual journey and renewal, combining the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a wandering yet purposeful path. The path represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world. Walking the labyrinth reduces stress, quiets the mind, grounds the body and opens the heart.

 

 

 

 

Meditate and Stretch with Robert Graham MD

Please join Robert Graham MD, Co-Founder of FRESH Medicine, for this session designed to connect your mind and body. Come to learn some chair yoga stretches to gently open the body, as well as some simple breathing practices to help tap into your “Relaxation Response.” Robert will then introduce a few meditation techniques like mindfulness meditation, progressive muscle relaxation and guided imagery. If you’re looking to improve your posture, relax your nervous system, calm your mind, improve digestion and increase your energy—this class is for you. All levels are welcome.
