Katie Frazee came to her work with Integrative Touch for Kids through a scientific exploration of the human body. With a Master of Science in Biological and Forensic Anthropology, Katie began her foray into pediatric medicine while studying modern trends in pediatric growth and development for the National Institute of Justice. Her study of the regenerative mechanism of the human body began after severely fracturing multiple bones. In response to this trauma, Katie became a licensed massage therapist, gathering various Healing Arts certifications that support physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual resilience. Through volunteerism, Katie allied with organizations delivering healing therapies to the underserved and generating innovative health care systems improvements. Katie first joined ITK as a volunteer, and today she serves as ITK’s Program Director. She deeply enjoys helping pioneer team-based, family wellness services in pediatric hospital, community, and home settings. She holds a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania and an MS in from Mercyhurst University.
