Mary Purdy MS, RDN
Mary Purdy MS, RDN, Integrative Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, was in private practice for 8 years working with hundreds of patients on a variety of health issues. She holds a Master's Degree from Bastyr University where she spent 3 years as adjunct professor and 5 years as a clinical supervisor at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She spent the last 4 years at the wellness company, Arivale, as a Coach and Clinical Education Lead providing both training to coaches, as well as nutrition and lifestyle counseling to clients using a personalized medicine approach that took into account nutritional genetics, blood analyte biomarkers, microbiome and salivary cortisol. She has presented at a variety of professional health and nutrition conferences, given over 100 nutrition workshops to her local community and has been quoted in dozens of magazines including Prevention, Food and Nutrition and Today’s Dietitian as well as featured on KUOW and KIRO News. She helped to revise and update the Environmental Toxins, Exposure, and Elimination Module of the Certificate of Training Program offered by The Academy Center for Lifelong Learning and co-authored the Diet Appendix for The Anti-Inflammatory Diet chapter for the 14th ed. of Krause's Food & The Nutrition Care Process. She is also past Chair of Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine, host of the web series & podcast “Mary’s Nutrition Show” and author of the book “Serving the Broccoli Gods.
