After undergraduate study and medical school at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Wendy Warner MD, FACOG, ABIHM, IFMCP completed her conventional ObGyn training at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. She was part of a conventional ObGyn practice in suburban Philadelphia for 14 years. During this time, she became board certified in Integrative Holistic Medicine, and was a past President of the ABIHM as well as part of their educational faculty. In 2004 she founded Medicine in Balance, a collaborative holistic medical practice. There she practices integrative functional medicine, sharing space with many other practitioners who offer a wide variety of therapies. She is also a faculty member for the Institute for Functional Medicine.
