Attendees seeking CME, CNE or CE credit must have a Continuing Education Conference Pass. 

It is the responsibility of the attendee to adhere to the CME/CNE/CE requirements of his/her state licensing board and to ensure these credits will be approved before registering for the conference*. IHS cannot provide this information to attendees.  IHS does not work directly with specific boards.

*Changes or additions to accreditation made after the conference may incur an administrative fee.

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CREDIT DESIGNATION STATEMENT

Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai designates this live activity for a maximum of  (pending) AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.   Physicians should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses and Nurse Practitioners

This activity has been submitted to the American Holistic Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. The American Holistic Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Approval for contact hours through the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) is based on an assessment of the educational merit of this program and does not constitute endorsement of the use of any specific modality in the care of clients.

TO RECEIVE YOUR CERTIFICATE, YOU MUST COMPLETE THE ONLINE EVALUATION (once available)

  • This evaluation will be available beginning Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 7:00pm and closes May 1, 2020.
  • You will be required to enter your state license number and badge number so keep that information accessible. You can find your badge number on your conference badge as well as your confirmation email.
  • Once you complete the online evaluation, you will be sent a copy of the Certificate for your records within two weeks of completion.

Dietitians and Nutritionists

Courses at the 2020 Integrative Healthcare Symposium are approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for CPEU’s (Continuing Professional Education Units) for Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN™) or Registered Dietitians (RD™); Nutrition and Dietetics Technicians, Registered (NDTR™) or Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTR™); and Board Certified Specialists in Nutrition and Dietetics.

This live activity is  approved for 18 CPEUs/hours from CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing Agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics) and a additional 3 hours of exhibit time to view posters. CPEU is level 1 & level 2.

Continuing education credit (CE) for Doctors of Chiropractic is pending approval by New York Chiropractic College (NYCC).

ALL DOCTORS OF CHIROPRACTIC – Please be sure you have reviewed all materials as not all courses may valid for Chiropractic CE credit. Please refer to the NYCC 2020 Approved Sessions (once available) prior to making your session selections.

Integrative Healthcare Symposium conference sessions will include a maximum of (pending) PDA/CEUs from National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
