Session Selection

IMPORTANT: We encourage all attendees to check the Approved Sessions for their discipline (found below, by discipline) prior to attending sessions once the symposium is certified.

Letter of Attendance

All attendees, regardless of discipline, will receive a Letter of Attendance post-event via the e-mail provided during registration. This email will be delivered no later than the first week of April 2018. We recommend that you contact your licensing board directly to confirm your profession will accept CEU credits with this letter.

Course Approval

The total number of approved continuing education credits is determined by the individual educational provider. Please thoroughly review the information below for total approved credits by discipline.

Doctors of Naturopathy

Bastyr University

This program is approved for NDs by Bastyr University for up to 17.00 credit hours (general).

ATTENTION California License Holders: This program has NOT been submitted to the California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA) for approval. A letter of attendance will be emailed to you post event for your records.

Doctors of Chiropractic

Continuing education credit (CE) is administered by New York Chiropractic College (NYCC). This course is valid for CE credits in “pre-approved” states, so long as it falls within the scope of practice as outlined by the corresponding state board. It remains attendees’ responsibility to contact the state board(s) from which they seek continuing education credits for purposes of ensuring said board(s) approves both the delivery method and content as they relate to this event.

License Renewal: While applications relating to credit hours for license renewal in selected states have been executed for these programs, it remains attendees’ responsibility to contact the state board(s) from whom they seek continuing education credits for purposes of ensuring said board(s) approve both venue and content as they relate to any seminar/course/lecture/webinar /online presentation (event). NCCAOMAcupuncture/Oriental Medicine Continuing Education Units/Professional Activity Development Points will be sponsored by Pacific College of Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine – NCCAOM®.

This event has received approval for 18.50 CEU/PDAs from NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).

Dietitians and Nutritionists

New this year, courses at the 2018 Integrative Healthcare Symposium have been approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for CPEU’s (Continuing Professional Education Units) for Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN™) or Registered Dietitians (RD™); Nutrition and Dietetics Technicians, Registered (NDTR™) or Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTR™); and Board Certified Specialists in Nutrition and Dietetics.

This event is approved for 19.00 CPEUs from CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing Agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics).

Continuing Nursing Education (CNE)

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the American Holistic Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. 

Approved to award up to 18 of 55.3 CNE credit hours through 2/14/20 – AHNA approval #1325.

Approval for contact hours through the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) is based on an assessment of the educational merit of this program and does not constitute endorsement of the use of any specific modality in the care of clients.

Approved courses are listed on the RN/NP Evaluation Forms for each day (see below).
