Course Approval

The total number of approved continuing education credits is determined by the individual educational provider. Please thoroughly review the information below for total approved credits by discipline.

Dietitians and Nutritionists

Courses at the 2019 Integrative Healthcare Symposium have been approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for CPEU’s (Continuing Professional Education Units) for Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN™) or Registered Dietitians (RD™); Nutrition and Dietetics Technicians, Registered (NDTR™) or Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTR™); and Board Certified Specialists in Nutrition and Dietetics.

This live activity has received approval for 19.0 CPEUs/hours and 2.0 poster hours from CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing Agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics).

All sessions at the Integrative Healthcare Symposium have been approved for CE credit from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Doctors of Chiropractic

Continuing education credit (CE) for Doctors of Chiropractic is approved by New York Chiropractic College (NYCC). This course is valid for CE credits in “pre-approved” states, so long as it falls within the scope of practice as outlined by the corresponding state board. It remains attendees’ responsibility to contact the state board(s) from which they seek continuing education credits for purposes of ensuring said board(s) approves both the delivery method and content as they relate to this event.

Acupuncture/Oriental Medicine Continuing Education Units/Professional Activity Development Points are sponsored by Pacific College of Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine – NCCAOM®.
