Peer Connection at the Symposium

In 2024, the Integrative Healthcare Symposium renewed its focus on industry networking and peer learning. Throughout February 15-17, 2024 in New York City, attendees found more networking events and additional time dedicated to relationship building.

Including more industry connections not only added value to attendees’ experience but contributed to the growth and advancement of the entire integrative healthcare industry

Opening Reception

Held on Thursday, February 15 | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Americas Hall 2

After the first day of conference sessions was complete, attendees were encouraged to attend the Opening Reception and join in kicking off #IHSNY24. They had the opportunity to attend a variety of events including the Meet the Speakers & Book Signing, a live podcast recording at the Integrative Practitioner Podcast Booth and more. They also enjoyed an open bar with refreshing drinks and healthy appetizers.

Meet the Speakers & Book Signing

Held on Thursday, February 15 | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Americas Hall 2

The Meet the Speakers and Book Signing event took place during the Opening Reception and was the perfect time to continue networking, get books signed, and of course, meet the speakers. Attendees discovered a newly renovated Book Nook area in the exhibit hall featuring books from the 2024 speakers!

2024 Community Hub

Held Friday – Saturday, February 16 – 17 | Americas Hall 2

Attendees, exhibitors and speakers stopped by the Community Hub between conference sessions for free educational presentations and panels presented by industry experts and thought leaders.

Sound Therapy Class

Held on Saturday, February 17 | 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM

Ben Brown led an immersive sound therapy class. Attendees were encouraged to find a comfortable position to actively listen and contemplate sounds generated through metal or crystal singing bowls, gongs, drums, and other instruments that enveloped their whole being.

Networking Happy Hour

Held on Friday, February 16 | 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Attendees joined their fellow participants for an hour of connection and peer learning. Taking place on Friday evening, this casual networking event was open to all #IHSNY24 attendees and exhibitors. They found light snacks, drinks, and conversation starters to guide their discussions and maximize relationship building.

Integrative Practitioner Podcast Booth

Held Thursday – Saturday, February 15 – 17 | Americas Hall 2

Attendees tuned into live Integrative Practitioner podcast recordings. Taking place in an open space with casual seating, they heard from integrative healthcare experts as they shared insights, tips, and so much more. Audience members had the opportunity to submit questions for the interview guests in advance.

Attendees also stopped by the #IHSNY24 Book Nook to explore the latest industry publications and to purchase a book, whether it was from their favorite author or focused on a topic that would advance their practice.

Professional Headshot Station

Held Thursday – Saturday, February 15 – 17 | Americas Hall 2

A professional headshot station was staffed by an event photographer at #IHSNY24. Attendees had the chance to stop by for a complimentary headshot or even a group photo!
