Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) uses relatively intensive training in mindfulness meditation as the core of a program to teach people how to take better care of themselves and live healthier and more adaptive lives. Offered as a complement to traditional medical and psychological treatments, MBSR is effective in helping to treat a wide variety of physical, emotional, and psychological conditions, as evidenced by four decades of scientific research. This session will provide a brief orientation to the MBSR intervention and an opportunity to experience MBSR practices and inquiry.
This session is free and open to all.
