Reversing Mild to Moderate Dementia

Feb 20 2025

2:45 PM - 3:45 PM EDT

Murray Hill

Mild to moderate cognitive decline can be reversed. This lecture will discuss a published case study of reversing moderate cognitive decline using therapeutic plasma exchange, umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells, exosomes and peptides. The AMBAR study improved cognition in patients with moderate Alzheimer’s disease with using therapeutic plasma exchange will be reviewed. In addition, the study of converting mesenchymal stem cells into neurons will be covered. There is hope in improving mild to moderate cognitive decline with removing the thousands of environmental toxins and giving back regenerative medicine.

Session Learning Objectives:

1.) Explain the multiple causes of mild to moderate cognitive decline.
2.) Understand that environmental toxins can contribute to dementia and the role of therapeutic plasma exchange.
3.) Understand the role of mesenchymal stem cells and a particular peptide in helping with neurogenesis.
