Linda Dahl, MD

Dr. Linda Dahl is a board-certified Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgeon in practice for over twenty years in New York City. She has a unique array of specializations, which include Integrative/Holistic Ear, Nose, and Throat, the Professional Voice, and Newborn Feeding and Breastfeeding.

After completing medical school at the University of Minnesota in 1998 and residency in Otolaryngology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2003, Dr. Dahl joined a group practice. In 2007 she started a solo practice, quickly becoming popular with performing artists and rising to become one of the top professional voice doctors for the Broadway community, opera singers, screen actors, and major recording artists. Concurrently, Dr. Dahl is also the leading New York City doctor specializing in infant feeding and breastfeeding. To date, she has treated over 30,000 babies. Dr. Dahl uses her training in Integrative Medicine to provide holistic, restorative care for all of her patients.

Dr. Dahl has lectured in a myriad of settings for the Screen Actor’s Guild, Actor’s Equity, and the Juilliard School of Music, as well as at medical conferences and hospitals. During the pandemic, she appeared on many national news programs, reporting on the medical side of the pandemic. In mainstream media, she has been featured in The New York Times, The New York Post, MSNBC, Medium, and The Hollywood Reporter. She has also appeared on numerous radio shows and podcasts. 

As an author, Dr. Dahl has published three books: Clinician’s Guide to Breastfeeding, Springer International  2016, Tooth and Nail: The Making of a Female Fight Doctor, Hanover Square Press  2018, and Better Breastfeeding: A Doctor’s Guide to Nursing Without Pain and Frustration, Rodale, 2/2022. She has also written and co-written articles published in scientific journals.

Dr. Dahl maintains hospital privileges at Weill Cornell Hospital, Northwell Lenox Hill Hospital, and Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital in Manhattan.
