Sherry Brewer, MD

Sherry Brewer, MD, is a board-certified Internist. She graduated from the University of Kentucky Medical School with high distinction and completed an accelerated residency in internal medicine.

After struggling with autoimmune disease for many years, Dr. Brewer researched alternatives to prescription medications and their side effects. She eventually found root cause medicine and enrolled in courses through the Institute for Functional Medicine and is now a certified functional medicine practitioner. She also completed a prestigious integrative medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center under the tutelage of Andrew Weil, MD and Tieraona Low Dog, MD.

Dr. Brewer has been practicing integrative medicine for a decade and has extensive training in treating autoimmune conditions, cognition and stress management, and genome-based care.

Based on what she learned about the healing powers of nutrition, herbs, and integrative therapies, she was able to put her autoimmune disease into remission and became passionate about sharing her knowledge.

When she is not helping patients achieve healing with personalized treatment, she enjoys spending time with her six children, practicing yoga, meditating, skiing, hanging out with friends, and cooking. You may also find her curled up with one of her cats and a book on quantum physics.
