Christopher P. Celio, MD is the medical director for employer wellness programs at Providence St. Joseph Health, the nation’s third-largest not-for-profit health system in the United States. An innovator in keeping people healthy, Dr. Celio is at the forefront of making wellness more personalized, effective, and affordable for consumers and employer groups alike.
Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Celio has been with PSJH for 14 years serving in many roles including both as a member of the Board of Trustees and chair of the Quality Committee at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA. Currently, he is honored to serve as the immediate past president of the Orange County Medical Association where he is dedicating most of his term to physician wellness and advocacy.
Dr. Celio received his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE, where he also completed his family medicine residency, did post-graduate work in mathematics, and received his bachelor’s degree.
